Located off Highway 97 between Wood Lake and Kalamalka Lake, in the north central area of Okanagan Similkameen, Oyama boasts several waterfront resorts, water skiing camps and busy fruit stands.
Oyama is named for Iwao Oyama, a Japanese Field Marshal who fought in the Russo-Japanese War of 1904-1905.
