Located east of
Revelstoke in the High Country region, this dam offers free tours from mid-March to late October. About 80,000 people per year come here to view one of the largest hydroelectric power dams in North America. The dam is 175 metres high and produces 1860 megawatts of electric power.
Lake Revelstoke, which is created by the dam, extends almost all the way north to Mica Dam.
