The Kalmthout Arboretum features 6,000 varieties of plants. The focus is on rare and old specimen trees. The best time to go is in spring, when many of the trees are blossoming. A difference of no more than a couple days can make for large changes in the landscape during this time, so it's worth visiting more than once!
