The University of Liege has a faculty of 2,400, and a student body of 14,000. Most of the campus is located in a 730 hectare wooded area, the Domain du Sart Tilman, 5 kilometers south of Liege proper. Touring the outdoor portion of the campus yields several pleasures, including an open-air sculpture garden with 100 works, botanical gardens, and a host of walkways and cycling tracks.
The ULG is the only public college in the French-speaking Wallonia region to offer a complete range of all university courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. It maintains a number of museums and science centers, the most prominent of which is the ULG Aquarium.
