The University of Liege Aquarium, established in 1962, is located on the
Meuse River in downtown
Liege. It attracts 85,000 visitors each year. The exhibits are divided into 4 sections, with several pools in each section: Seawater (Warm and Temperate), and Fresh Water (Warm and Temperate). Boat cruises down the Meuse are offered during the warm season.
The Aquarium is located in the same building as the ULG Museum of Zoology and the ULG Hall of Science.
