The ULG Museum of Zoology is organized to illustrate the diversity of the animal kingdom. The Mammals of the World room features skeletons of of many creatures, including whales and elephants. Another room is dedicated solely to invertebrates. Another hosts animals, especially birds, native to Belgium. Another is dedicated to temporary exhibitions.

The first items recorded into the collection of the ULG Museum of Zoology date from 1837; the museum was opened to the public in 1962.

The Museum of Zoology is located in the same building as the ULG Aquarium and the ULG Hall of Science.
