The Aquarium of the Pacific is one of the largest aquariums in the United States. It has 550 species that fill 17 major habitats, 31 focus exhibits and show visitors on the world of the Pacific Ocean's three regions: Southern California/Baja; the Tropical Pacific and the Northern Pacific. The Aquarium also anchors the upcoming Queensway Bay (the largest waterfront development in California history).
Situated on the water's edge, the aquarium provides a close encounter with mysterious creatures from the depths of the Pacific. The aquarium is open from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. every day of the year, except December 25th and during the weekend of the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. Please call for admission prices.
