It has 550 species that fill 17 major habitats, 31 focus exhibits and show visitors on the world of the Pacific Ocean's three regions: Southern California/Baja; the Tropical Pacific and the Northern Pacific. The Aquarium also anchors the upcoming Queensway Bay (the largest waterfront development in California history). Situated on the water's edge, the aquarium provides a close encounter with mysterious creatures from the depths of the Pacific. The aquarium is open from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. every day of the year, except December 25th and during the weekend of the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. Please call for admission prices.
