Specializing in the marine life of Southern California, Cabrillo Marine Aquarium features displays that include 35 seawater aquariums with sea life native to the area. Daily multimedia shows, seasonal events and educational programs are sponsored. Whale watching tours are offered during the season of migrations. Closed Mondays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. The Aquarium is free but has a suggested admission donation of $5 for adults and $1 for children and is open to the public from 12 noon - 5 pm Tuesday through Friday and on weekends from 10 am - 5 pm. Car beach parking is $6.50. Groups of 10 or more must make reservations.
