The museum is located in the beautiful Carnegie Library building. The centerpiece of the Chico Museum is a Chinese Taoist temple that was used from 1860 to 1939. A history of Chico is a permanent exhibition in the museum and their are many rotating historic exhibits that are also featured. There is no cost, but donations are appreciated.

The Chico Museum is open Wednesday through Sunday in the afternoon.
