Mule-drawn wagons cross the Coachella Valley Preserve while a naturalist describes area history and flora. Among the animals frequently seen are jackrabbits and quail. The schedule is daily, weather permitting, from October through May. Dinner can be included. Proceed 6 miles east of Interstate 10 on Ramon Road, then north on a dirt road beyond Thousand Palms Cyn Road, following the signs.
