The San Luis Obispo Children's Museum provides education through exploration, enabling preschool through elementary age children to learn about subjects such as health, safety, history, humanities, science, nature, the arts, and their community through entertaining, enticing, quality hands-on exhibits and programs which encourage adults to share the learning experience with children.
Children are able to learn through play and exploration in more than 25 interactive exhibits. Would-be actors and actresses perform at the Kids' Theater while future firefighters learn the techniques used to extinguish fires.
The Museum is closed Wednesdays, holidays, and Tuesdays except for in the summer.
