Loveland is a beautiful and progressive city located just 45 miles north of Denver along the Front Range. The community is famous worldwide as the "Sweetheart City," it receives thousands of cards each year to be stamped and sealed through its Valentine re-mailing program.

Situated at the mouth of the Big Thompson Canyon against the foothills on Highway 34, the city also serves as a gateway to the Rocky Mountains. Known as a major center for bronze sculpture in the nation, Loveland is home to two bronze foundries that cast works by both local and world-renowned artists. Many of these sculptures can be seen at the city's civic center in Benson Park Sculpture Garden, one of the largest publicly owned sculpture parks in the United States. Area recreation includes 25 city parks, a recreational trail system and more.

The community also hosts the nations largest exhibit of prehistoric arrowheads at the Stone Age Fair. Loveland is part of the Fort Collins-Loveland, Colorado metro area.
