Eastern Connecticut State University

Founded in 1889, this is a public institution offering undergraduate programs in liberal arts and sciences, business and education. There are 3 undergraduate schools and 1 graduate school. The 177-acre campus is in a suburban area 29 miles east of Hartford and 90 miles southwest of Boston. Including residence halls there are 29 buildings, many of which are historic.
