Located on Lyme St., the American art and history museum houses a collection of American Impressionist art and Barbizon paintings displayed in the late Georgian mansion that housed an early 20th century art colony. Period rooms offer a glimpse into the region's history through tools, toys, clothing and household items.
Open Tuesday - Saturday, 10am-5pm, Sunday, 1pm-5pm in June through October. Open Wednesday - Sunday, 1pm-pm the rest of the year. Call for schedule during Christmas season.
