Living Museum of Avon is a restored 19th-century schoolhouse, which contains maps, photographs, implements and clothes, and a diorama of the Farmington Canal all relating to 1830's. This handicapped accessible museum shows life in Avon, CT at the time of its corporation in 1830 and the construction of the Farmington Canal in 1825.
