Norwich

Norwich is located in New London County north of New London between Mohegan and Jewett City along Highway 169 on the banks of the Shetucket River near Fort Shantok State Park. Amos Lake is located just southeast.

The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 34,931, a decrease of 2,460 since 1990.

Norwich is part of the New London-Norwich metro area.
