The complex is housed in a textile company's store, library, and store warehouse, built in 1877. The main building housed a 19th century version of today's all-purpose stores. Millworkers could obtain anything, from a side of beef to a lady's bonnet. Workers could also obtain education and culture in the Dunham Hall Library. Today, the library fully equipped and utilized for research. Attractions include Dugan Mill and Thread Mill Square.
