Boyd Hill Nature Park |
This 245-acre preserve is located on the west side of Lake Maggiore, just a few miles from downtown St. Petersburg. The park features miles of winding, shaded nature trails and boardwalks. The Nature Center offers interpretive displays, an environmental studies area, an aquarium, and birds of prey exhibit.
Public programs include 90-minute guided nature walks, wildflower walks, early morning bird walks, nocturnal nature hikes, and a Natural History Speaker Series. Guided tours for groups are available by prior arrangement.
