Search Delray Beach Florida

Originally a cottage built in 1915 by Delray Beach community leader and Methodist minister, Reverend John R. Cason, this museum depicts the lifestyle of a typical household of the early 1900s. The historic vernacular-style house was constructed of Dade County pine, and features craftsman cottage details; the structure was recently restored in a joint effort by the Delray Beach Historical Society and the City of Delray Beach.

In addition to period furnishings and artifacts, taped oral histories by pioneer citizens are also offered. Open Tuesday-Friday; closed holidays.
