Cedar Key Historical Society Museum

Housed in a former private residence, circa 1871. Displays illustrating the town's history, as well as those of the local pencil and lumber and fishing industries, include photographs dating back to 1850; other exhibits include Timucuan Indian artifacts, minerals and woodworking tools. The Historical Society also offers brochures which lead visitors through self-guided tours of the city, and operates an on-site gift shop. Open daily.
