Silver River Museum

The Silver River Museum and Environmental Education Center takes a journey through Silver River's past. Everything from mammoths to movies are included in the exhibits. Full size mammoth skeletons are on display. The mammoth was not the only ancestor of the modern day elephant to roam Silver River, mastodons also lived in Florida 12,000 years ago. Artifacts from some of Florida's first human inhabitants are also found within the museum. The unique collection of fossils and artifacts is sure to fascinate anyone visiting the museum.
