Boat tour of Douai

Every summer, from the dock at the Palace of Justice, visitors can take a boat along the quiet waters of the Scarpe River, a different kind of stroll through the picturesque town of Douai. Boat trips are available on weekends in July and August and last 30 minutes, including commentary on the waterfront buildings, the cells of the Palace of Justice and the Vidocq prison. For reservations on the passenger boat "Swanny", which can accommodate 120 passengers with meals served on board:
