The Hidden Lake Academy was founded in 1994 by Leonard Buccellato. It provides residential treatment and traditional boarding. The curriculum is designed to offer thorough quality instruction in the basics of language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, and foreign language. A special skills program is available. Facilities include dormitories, activity center, gymnasium, library, basketball court, and dining area with fire place. An 18 to 26 month program has a therapeutic curriculum, coupled with specialized therapeutic services. Importance is given to sports and recreational and spiritual activities.
