This is one of the well-established Luaus on
Oahu Island. The food is cooked in an underground pit on heated rocks. The pit is lined with leaves, filled with the pig and other food, and covered with more fresh leaves.
The whole feast is then covered and allowed to cook for six hours. Polynesian entertainment adds color to the proceedings. This luau is held daily 6 to 9:30pm.
Guests are transported by bus from Waikiki hotels to the Barbers Point area where the luau is held. It includes drinks, a buffet dinner and Polynesian show.
