This attraction on the windward side of
Oahu Island in
Waimanalo is a world of dancing seals, penguins, dolphins, sharks, rays, marine life and exotic tropical fish. There is a 300,000 gallon aquarium at the attraction.
Attractions include the Hawaii Ocean Theatre, an open-air stage for dancing dolphins and prancing penguins. At Kolohe Kai Surf Club, sea lions perform acrobatics. At Splash U, visitors can touch, feed and teach dolphins to sing, dance and jump.
At Pirates' Lagoon, kids of all ages can operate radio-controlled ships, dig for buried treasure, blast away in the shooting gallery or escape through a shipboard maze. At Whaler's Cove, there is a scale model replica of a whaling ship.
It is the backdrop for a live-action drama about a Hawaiian maiden and her island prince. It is open 9:30am to 5pm daily. There is an optional roundtrip shuttle from select Waikiki motels for a nominal charge.
