Nine Eagles State Park

Rugged wooded hills and valleys abundant with oak trees make Nine Eagles one of southern Iowa's most scenic parks. It is a great place for a picnic. Several shaded picnic areas with tables and fireplaces are located throughout the 1,100 park. The park has some trees which are more than 300 years old. There are two campgrounds with 98 campsites (52 with electrical hookups), modern showers, rest rooms and a trailer dump station. It offers fishing on the 64-acre lake for bass, northern pike, tiger muskie, channel catfish, bluegill and crappie.
