Green Valley's 390-acre lake draws hundreds of visitors on hot summer days. There are 145 campsites (85 with electrical hookups), modern rest rooms and showers. Camper cabins were recently added to the area.
Green Valley has long been a popular place to fish for both bank and boat anglers. A number of fishing jetties are available, as well as two fishing piers for persons with varying ability.
