This Washington County town is primarily an agricultural community with dairy, cattle, and hay production, but in addition it serves as the eastern gateway to Hells Canyon. It is located on US 95 between Weiser and New Meadows. It lies at the base of Cuddy Mountain about 100 miles north of Boise. Cambridge is the home of the oldest published newspaper in the state of Idaho.
