Trail Wind Elementary School was built thanks to the community's support of a bond election in February of 1996. Armstrong Architects created the elementary school design by combining traditional classrooms with the latest educational technology. At 47,000 square feet, this new facility accommodates approximately 600 students in 20 classrooms for grades K-6. The school features a wide variety of multi-media equipment, such as a central network connecting all classrooms, multiple computer terminals in each classroom, tack boards, liquid chalk board systems, and built-in cable-wired TV/VCR units.
