Visitors are always welcoe to tour the hatchery, which is funded by US Fish & Wildlife and Idaho Dept of Fish & Game, was built to increase the chinook runs in the South Fork of the
Salmon River. This $4 million dollar facility has been in operation since 1979. Group tours are available by appointment only.
