Situated in
Lewiston Idaho, SJRMC has been providing medical care to the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley and surrounding eight counties since 1902 when the Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet began giving medical services in a small frame house near the Snake River. From this modest beginning, SJRMC has grown to be a regional medical center. Comprised of a medical team of more than 130 active, courtesy and consulting physicians, St. Joseph Regional Medical Center offers the region a variety of specialty services.
A not-for-profit hospital sponsored by the Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet, SJRMC is a part of the Carondelet Health System and is licensed to operate 125 acute medical/surgical care beds, 20 adult acute care psychiatric beds, and 16 skilled nursing faculty beds in the Transitional Care Unit. SJRMC also offers a Mental Health Center with inpatient and outpatient facilities, a home health agency, and Family Hospice and outpatient rehabilitation services.
