Take a closer look at kokanee salmon, steelhead, cutthroat trout and other species as they spawn, hatch eggs, and grow. You can observe all these activities by looking through a series of underwater windows located along the stream at the Boise River Observatory.
Self-guided tours of displays throughout the observatory will explain fish life, aquatic ecology, stream hydraulics, and riverside ecology. Also found within the 4.5 acre observatory are semi-arid habitats, woodlands, and wetlands.
Year-round hours are sunrise to sunset. Admission is free.
