The Oregon Trail Center is a non-profit organization that brings to life the experiences of those who traveled the Oregon Trail between 1843 and 1877 which traverses Idaho beginning at the Wyoming border near Montpelier. The Oregon Trail Center provides a personal experience through a "living history" journey from Independence, MO to Clover Creek at Montpelier. The tour incldes an incredible experience while at the Clover Creek Wagon Encampment, a mercantile, gun shop, and livery stable. You will enjoy a simulated covered wagon ride as if on the Oregon Trail. Other areas of the center include an Oregon Trail art gallery, a theater, and other educational opportunities.
