Wild Herbs & Indian Lore

Darcy Williamson, author of "Rocky Mountain Wild Foods," teaches guests about wild food and medicinal herbs as part of a six-day Salmon River trip. Williamson's nature walks and wild food recipes focus on 28 plants common to the Salmon River region. Her recipes are sampled on the trip and fit with the latest dietary trends regarding fresh foods with low sugar and low fat content. Williamson is also an expert on Indian lore, which she shares with guests in evening campfire discussions.
