Bement is located in central Illinois in
Piatt County just east of
Decatur along Highway 7 near the
Sangamon River and
Clinton Lake. The population estimate for 2000 was about 1,800.
The Bement Country Opry (www.bementcountryopry.com) is widely known for its Friday evening entertainment in classic "opry style."
