Heidecke SFWA

Situated in northeastern Illinois in Grundy County about 5 miles east of Morris just east of Goose Lake Natural Area, Heidecke State Fish and Wildlife Area is centered around a Commonwealth Edison cooling lake which is leased to the Department of Natural Resources for hunting and fishing. Special regulations apply at the 1,800-acre site.
