Originally established in 1946, DACC has evolved from an extension center of the University of Illinois into a dynamic community college serving the Vermilion, Champaign County, Effingham County, Ford County and Iroquois County school districts.
Located on a wooded 75-acre campus, the College offers over 1,500 courses to meet most anyone's educational needs. Vocational programs include Substance Abuse Counselor Training , Criminal Justice, Human Services, and Early Childhood Education with both a Day Care or a Teacher Aide option.
