Locust Hills Golf Course

Locust Hills is a public 18-hole, 6,000-yard course located in southwestern Illinois in northeastern St. Clair County about 25 miles east of St Louis.

The course is one of the oldest in Illinois having been built in 1933. The back 9 was added in 1961. Amenities include a sports bar with large-screen TV, full-menu restaurant, large party deck overlooking the course and a well-stocked pro shop.

The 11th hole features one of the largest trees in the state. The massive white oak stands 60' tall with a crown spanning 125' and a circumference of 17.5'.

The men's Blue tees are rated at 68.2 with a slope of 109. The Whiite tees measures 5,600 yards and is rated at 67.2 with a 105 slope while the Gold tees are 5,250 yards long. No ratings were available for these tees. The ladies play from the 4,450-yard Red tees which carry numbers of 71.0 and 113.
