The Mazonia State Fish and Wildlife Area is located in northeastern Illinois in Grundy County and provides more than 700 acres of grassland, brushy draws, and shrubs on its 1,017 acres. For the angler, 200 water impoundments, some as large as 30 acres, contain bass, crappie, channel catfish, and other species. Hunters will also enjoy this area for its excellent dove, pheasant, goose, duck, and rabbit hunting. Located 3 miles southwest of Braceville.
