Carlinville Area Hospital

Carlinville Area Hospital is a 33-bed community hospital that provides a wide range of inpatient, outpatient and emergency services. Patients can be admitted to the Hospital for medical, surgical or pediatric care. A variety of other services are available to patients on an inpatient and outpatient basis through the Hospital's Physical Therapy, Cardiopulmonary, Radiology and Laboratory Departments.

There are nine doctors on the Active Medical Staff that represent Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, and Gerontology. More than 25 physicians, representing more than a dozen medical specialties, are available to see patients locally through the Hospital's Outpatient Services Department.

Emergency Medical Services offered by the Hospital include an Intermediate Life Support Ambulance Service, a 24-hour Emergency Department and the Convenient Care Clinic.
