Quail Creek is part of a resort facility with an 18-hole, par 72, 6,600-yard course (from the Gold tees) and located in southeastern Illinois in Crawford County. The men's tees are rated at 72.4 with a slope of 128. The Blue tees measure 6,200 yards long and rate out at 70.5 with a 123 slope while the White tees provide a 5,650-yard challenge with numbers of 68.1 and 118. The ladies play from the Red tees which are 5,100 yards long and carry a rating of 70.1 with a slope of 117.
The course was originally a 9-hole layout created in 1920 with the back 9 being added in the early 1960s. Among the amenities are a driving range, chipping green, putting greens and course snack bars. In addition, the Club House Restaurant presents a fine-dining experience.
