Savoy, incorporated in 1956, is located in central Illinois in
Champaign County northeast of
Decatur between
Champaign and
Tuscola along Highway 45 near the
Sangamon River and the Indiana state line. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 3,142, an increase of 468 since 1990.
