In additon, Ferne Clyffe State Park, Giant City State Park, Crab Orchard Lake & NWR and Cedar Lake are a short distance to the northwest; the Trail of Tears State Forest is to the west and Dixon Springs State Park is to the east. Locally, the Vienna Community Park offers a quick fix for those forced to spend much of the day indoors.
