Hillsdale Lake, was established there in 1984.
Offers outdoor recreational opporunities to campers, anglers, and boaters. There are 7 boat ramp area, (primitive and developed). Fishing is allowed on all 51 miles of shoreline and approximately 4,500 acres of surface water. There are 2 developed beach areas that are open from sunrise to sunset.
In FY2002 Hillsdale Lake had 2,378,958 visitor hours.
The majority of the visitation to Hillsdale Lake includes: campers, fishermen, boaters, hunters, hikers, swimmers and sightseers. With further development of Hillsdale Lake, visitation should continue to climb.
