Milford State Park rests in an 18,000 acre wildlife area operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers. The lake itself is 16,000 acres, and is the state's largest. The park contains 123 electrical hookup campsites, 31 full-service campsites, ten boat ramp lanes, and Rush Creek Marina. The park's close proximity to

Manhattan make it a favorite spot for outdoor enthusiasts. It is also the location for the Southwind Yacht Club.
