Yatesville Lake is a 2,300-acre impoundment of the Big Sandy River and is the largest lake in eastern Kentucky. Although noted for the good bluegill fishig, it also offers bass, crappie and channel catfish.
The Yatesville Lake campground offers 27 campsites with utilities and 20 primitive sites. The year-around marina has rental boats, 140 boat slips and a boat ramp.
