Kent Plantation House |
This house was built between 1796-1800 and is the oldest known standing structure in Central Louisiana. It is a mixture of Spanish and French Colonial architecture. The house, 4-acre grounds and gardens have been restored to their early 19th century greatness.
Open-hearth cooking demonstrations are given weekly, October through April. Allow 1 hour minimum. Closed Jan. 1, Thanksgiving and Dec. 25.
