Lake Bistineau State Park

Situated on the western shore of a 200-year-old-lake, this park boasts magnificent natural surroundings and outstanding facilities. An upland mixed hardwood forest, open waters of the lake and enchanting stands of cypress and tupelo trees create the natural beauty. It offers two boat launches, hiking trails, playgrounds, two swimming pools, a lakefront beach, picnicking, pavilions, restrooms, 61 improved campsites, 14 cabins, a lodge, two group camps with pools and excellent fishing to satisfy the outdoorsman.

The park is a favorite for family reunions, church gatherings, family outings or individual adventure.
