An upland mixed hardwood forest, open waters of the lake and enchanting stands of cypress and tupelo trees create the natural beauty. It offers two boat launches, hiking trails, playgrounds, two swimming pools, a lakefront beach, picnicking, pavilions, restrooms, 61 improved campsites, 14 cabins, a lodge, two group camps with pools and excellent fishing to satisfy the outdoorsman.
