Lake Claiborne State Park

From the moment you drive onto this 620-acre recreational facility, the remarable beauty of nature unfolds before you. The piney woods, rolling hills, steep ravines and the cool, clear waters of Lake Claiborne inspire the outdoor enthusiast in all of us. The lake's sandy beach is uncommon among the northern state parks, as is the clarity of the water, making fishing, boating, water skiing, jet skis, canoeing and swimming glorious. Facilities include 87 improved campsites, laundry, primitive group campsites, picnic tables and grills, a large covered shelter with restrooms. The surrounding woods are home to a wide variety of wildlife, and a lovely nature trail will introduce you to the beauty of the area.
