New Orleans Pharmacy Museum

This museum displays old apothecary items and medical equipment dating from the 1820s. The structure was built in 1823 by Louis J. Dufilho Jr., the nation's first licensed pharmacist. The museum also has a collection of voodoo potions and a garden of medicinal herbs. The museum is opened Tues.-Sun. from 10-5. There is a small admission charged.
